Morning after breakfast, you could be set out for sightseeing. Poovar‘ where the Lake, River, Sea and Beach meet’ Beach is covered by golden sands and surrounded by the tree of coconut and palms, Kerala's watercourses flow almost down to the sea from here. Poovar has a landscaped beauty of sensuous streams, coconut palms and a bewitching beach. You can sunbathe on the sandy beaches of Poovar to get a bronze tan. Have a leisurely walk all around the village to get an insight into a traditional village culture of Kerala. Taste the local flavor of fresh seafood of Kerala from the seaside stalls and drink a lot of cool and refreshing coconut waters. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 03-Kovalam-Kanyakumari
Morning after breakfast, Check out from the resort and proceed to Kanyakumari. The name of this place has been christened after the virgin goddess – Kanyakumari Amman. Mythological stories depict that Goddess parvati under the disguise of Devi Kanniya did a penance in one of the rocks in this area to reach the hand of Lord Shiva. The tourists who visit this southernmost tip of India would certainly enjoy the exuberant scenes of the sunsets, the sunrises especially on full moon days. The nature of the sand in the beaches of Kanyakumari is unique as it is multicoloured. After evening refreshments return back to hotel and overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 04-Departure-Trivandrum
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for the return journey. A short shopping trip can be planned based on the time availability.
